Narendra Modi, a revolutionary leader, transforming India rapidly! There may be lot of controversies or issues or poor implementations with these movements, but these require a truly inspired, dedicated and daring leader to implement, at least.
So many foreign leaders turned towards India and are ready
to maintain a friendly relationship. Israel is excited about its relationship
with India for the first time. Highly respected, transforming and
Revolutionary, Narendra Modi Ji.
I think there are many achievements of NaMo Sarkar but in my
view some major achievement in the last four years are listed below:
Swachh
Bharat Mission: Everybody knew this, CLEAN INDIA mission!
Widely respected and popularized. This made entire world to look at India!
Bankruptcy: The
amendment of bankruptcy laws were necessary when bankers were grappling with
use rise in non-performing assets, where the govt’s eye was on bringing more
entrepreneurs!
Real-estate:
It was a game changer of housing-sector, making it more transparent
and contributed about 9% to India’s GDP.
Yoga Day: Declared,
June 21 as international Yoga day. Achieving our indigenous Yoga an
international status. June 21 was declared as International Yoga Day by United
Nations. A total of 177 nations co-sponsored the resolution, which is the
highest number of co-sponsors ever for any UNGA resolution of such nature.
Man ki
baat: Prime Minister’s initiative to address millions of
people, that too periodically. That’s something sensible.
Digital
India: A powerful movement to Digitise India and knowledge
economy.
Start up
India: Promote bank financing for start-up companies
encouraging the young entrepreneurs!
Black
money: Govt’s main agenda was to rip off the black money.
But it was less effective.
Demonetization: A
daring move to change the currency notes to reduce corruption and black money.
Yes, it succeeded very well but a lot of initial sufferings.
GST: Revolutionary
Transparent Taxation system, making every tax into one single Tax. A lot of
chaos and corruption are reduced.
Some products experienced a dip in prices some experienced a
hike, some were moderated. But, the chaos in taxation is reduced in a drastic
way, which also reduced the accumulation of taxes (Cumulative taxes).
Women’s
Bill - Women Empowerment: Seeks 1/3 representation of parliament members
to be women.
Smart India
plans: To make India a smart country, each sector integrated
with IOT.
Make in
India: Encourages foreign investments, revamp labor laws to make
India a manufacturing Hub. Many countries have agreed to this great move.
Aadhar
Card: A unique identity card for citizens of India. This
supports digital India by digitizing the identities and integrating with all
other necessities like Passports etc.
Bullet
Trains: Fastest trains in India, following the technology
used by Japan. Over 98,000 cores is invested.
Jan Dhan
Yojana: Opening bank accounts. India also holds guineas
records for opening a lot of bank accounts in a short period of time.
LPG Subsidy
reforms: This barred LPG to customers who earned more than 10L
per annum. The saved money was used to give it people who still use kerosene or
fire woods!
SOLAR POWER
BOOM:
Before Modi Sarkar (till 26th May 2014) - 2.65 GW
After Modi Sarkar (till 31st March 2017) - 12.89 GW
Pradhanmantri
Ujjwala Yojana: It is an ambitious social welfare scheme which
aims to provide free LPG connections to BPL households in the country. The
scheme is aimed at replacing the unclean cooking fuels mostly used in the rural
India with the clean and more efficient LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). It is a
welfare program of the government of India. The stated objective of the program
is providing 50,000,000 LPG connections to women from families below the
poverty line.
FARMERS:
- New crop insurance scheme and higher funding for irrigation to counter weather risks.
- Set an ambitious goal to double farm incomes in real terms by 2022, moving away from the historical focus on increasing production.
- Initiated a range of marketing reforms to create a “one nation, one market” in agriculture.
TERROR,
DEFENCE AND FOREIGN POLICY:
- Carried out surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir, resumed cordon (barrier) and search operations in more than 20 villages in Shopian.
- Combing operations launched against Maoists in Chhattisgarh.
- Settling one of the largest border disputes of the world which was over decades with Bangladesh successfully.
- India cancelled its participation in the 19th SAARC summit at Islamabad, alleging Pakistan's involvement in 2016 Uri terror attack. Modi Govt could unite all other nations of SAARC against Pak terror activities.
I think economical and other relation among the world
becomes much better than past .Respective PM Narendra Modi visit many nations
of world. Relation with America becomes much better. I think relation with
Japan, UK, Israel is also important.
FISCAL
SITUATION:
- Got states on board to introduce the goods and services tax (GST), the biggest tax reform since independence.
- Merger of railway budget with Union budget and shifting budget presentation date to 1 February from 28 February.
MINDSET
CHANGE:
- Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched to eliminate open defecation and promote cleanliness.
- Soviet-style five-year plans come to an end; 15-year vision, three-year action plan come into play.
- Cashless economy.
- Improving e-infrastructure, e-participation and government e-services for addressing transparency.
- Unified Payments Interface (UPI)—a payment system that allows mobile-enabled money transfers between bank accounts. Promotion of the Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) for a less-cash economy.
- Leveraging Aadhaar for improving service delivery to citizens.
OPTICS:
- Doing away with the red beacon—a symbol of so-called VIP culture—from all government vehicles.
- Extending support to ending the practice of triple talaq.
- Introducing the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (save the girl child, educate the girl child) scheme.
Skill
India: Pradhan Mantri
Kaushal Vikas Yojana under "National Policy for Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship, 2015”. Abbreviated as SKILL
INDIA is a whole set of initiatives provided to various class based people
and to ensure their productivity in cultivating the seeds to built India as a
stronger and independent nation.
Skill India is a campaign launched by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi on 15 July 2015 which aims to train over 40 crore People in India
in different skills by 2022.
Various initiatives under this campaign are:
- National Skill Development Mission
- National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, 2015
- Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)
- Skill Loan scheme
- Rural India Skill
Pradhan
Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana: Launched on May 9, 2015 by
the Ministry of Finance for Accidental Insurance with a premium of Rs. 12 per
year.
Inflation
Control: I think the way Modi government has managed to
control the inflation rate is quite appreciable, from 8.33% in 2014 to just
2.99% in 2017. This is huge.
Also, there are great chances of improving of economy with
the implementation of GST. Although it hasn't been long since it was implemented,
we can see positive changes in the Nifty and Sensex.
Deen Dayal
Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojna: According to a power ministry report, there
were 18452 un-electrified villages when the BJP-led government assumed power.
Out of this 13469 villages have been electrified as of as of May 18, 2017. Thus
you see, approximate 100% of villages got electrified within 4.5 years of
tenure.
A corruption free administration, an outstanding very
successful foreign policy, firm decisions, these are the major achievement of
BJP Govt. No scams surfaced. Economy is stable. No wars so far. Terrorism is
under control. Steps are taken to curb black money. Modi emerged from the
shadows of Advani Ji, Venkata Ji, Sushma Ji, Rajnath Ji etc. and emerged as the
single biggest leader and all others accepted and no rebellion within the
party. A stable party can give a stable Govt too.
